Kidblog is amazing. Don’t take our word for it, though. Here are some recent tweets from teachers about Kidblog:
We are honored to recently have participated in a seed round investment in Kidblog. While there are many options available for teachers and students to interact online, the blogging platform provides the most convenient and, more importantly, safe way for this interaction to occur. Nobody is dominating the student-blogging platform quite like Kidblog. One in every thirty students in the U.S. is now a Kidblog user. Wow.
Kidblog was developed by teachers, for teachers (notice a trend here?). Co-founder Matt Hardy started Kidblog in his 4th grade classroom in Eden Prairie, MN to replace paper notebooks and promote student collaboration. Technology integration into classrooms is a continual debate each year. Kidblog provides a quick fix for this with their platform that allows seamless interactions between students and teachers.
We invested in Kidblog due to its rock solid, talented leadership team with a clear determination to create a solution to an evident problem. Matt and co-founder Dan Flies’ laser focus on the customer and platform has paid off. When they recently turned the switch on for generating revenue, customers quickly followed. A testament to their product and level of service.
Ryan learned about Kidblog via a constructive collision at CoCo Minneapolis. After tragically forgetting his power cord, he desperately asked around to borrow one and the Kidblog was his saving grace. After a few follow-up conversations and subsequent launch of Confluece Capital, we were excited to partner with Kidblog to help propel their continued growth.
Welcome Matt and Dan to the Confluence Crew!
